SS HOMEWORK POST

I am pleased to be here with you all. Representatives from many voluntary welfare organisations (VWOs) are gathered at this IMYC forum. We are here with a common purpose - to discuss new collaborations and ideas for IMYC agencies, namely, Police, MCD, MOE, NCSS, the Courts and NYC, by tapping the expertise of VWOs, joining our hands and hearts to tackle juvenile and youth crime problems in Singapore. Many of you already run successful services and programmes for youths-at-risk and youth offenders at the community level and in schools. You have an in-depth understanding of their problems and backgrounds. For IMYC agencies, you represent a rich resource pool.2 We all know that youth aspirations, issues and problems are never static. New problems and challenges keep surfacing. Hence, it is useful that we come together regularly to take stock. Then, we can forge new consensus and directions to tackle problems and challenges.3 We held the last IMYC Networking Conference in 1996. Since then, we have implemented a spectrum of new rehabilitative and preventive measures to tackle juvenile delinquency and youth crime. Indeed, many measures were developed and implemented by IMYC agencies with the help of VWOs. One notable example is the StreetWise programme, a "second-chance" ground-breaking rehabilitative programme coordinated by IMYC with the help of 5 VWOs, namely Youth Guidance Outreach Service, Bethesda Community Services Society, Bukit Ho Swee Social Service Centre, Lakeside Family Centre and Teen Challenge.4 The past two years of Streetwise collaboration have seen IMYC agencies and the 5 VWOs build up a close working relationship to tackle problems arising from street corner gangs. They shared information and co-ordinated the management of cases. The VWOs sharpened their expertise and approaches to managing local youth gang problems. This spirit of mutual collaboration has been recognised. The StreetWise Programme won the Commonwealth Youth Programme's Regional Youth Service Award recently.5 The Streetwise Programme is but one example. There are other examples of multi-sectoral tie-ups that effectively tackle different problems relating to youth crimes and juvenile delinquency. These include the Guidance Programme, coordinated by MCD and run by VWOs; the Honorary Volunteer Special Constabulary (VSC) scheme, coordinated by the Police and MOE with participation from the schools; and the Peer Mediation scheme coordinated by the Courts and MOE, again with the schools. 6 Clearly, there have been qualitative improvements in our approach in tackling juvenile delinquency and youth crime. The testimonies of practitioners in the field, such as yourselves, bear this out. The networking has improved. The comfort level has been raised. The quantitative indicators have also been gratifying. From 1995 to 1998, the number of juvenile offenders arrested fell from about 2,600 (2,574) to about 2,400 (2408), down 6% over four years. In particular, the number of serious assault and rioting cases fell from about 200 (199) in 1995 to about 120 (119) in 1998, down 40%. The number of cases involving other seizable offences such as vandalism, unlawful assembly and possession of offensive weapons also fell from about 170 (173) in 1995 to about 80 (82) in 1998, down 53%.7 The first half of 1999 saw a further improvement in the juvenile and youth crime situation. Between Jan to June this year, about 1700 (1674) youth offenders ie aged 7 to 19 years, were arrested compared to about 2500 (2495) arrests over the same period last year, down 33%. Juvenile arrests, ie those below 16 years, also fell from about 1200 (1235) to about 750 (749), down 39%. Shoplifting, an area of concern last year, also saw fewer youths arrested, from about 1150 (1153) in the first six months of 1998 to about 650 (658) this year, down 43%. But we should not rest on our laurels. Every offender is one too many. We must go all-out to prevent every offence. Whilst recalcitrant and serious offenders must be appropriately punished, the large majority of young offenders who are spotted early must be steered away from the slippery slope. Hence, our integrated and comprehensive approach that emphasises remedial and rehabilitative measures is the right one. Let us mobilise more resources to mount preventive and developmental programmes so that we can sustain this early success. 8 Yet, at the same time, we should not neglect upstream root problems and causes. We should devise more proactive approaches to early and effective intervention for at-risk cases. Viewed from this angle, the focus will not just be on crime prevention per se. The wider focus is really to help our youths find direction in life, overcome low self-esteem, imbibe useful lifeskills and make positive friendships.9 One area that we can develop further from the developmental and preventive point of view is school-based social work. Presently, many VWOs already have regular contacts and programmes in schools. These interfaces with the schools mainly involve provision of counselling services. I am glad that some VWOs are beginning to work closely with the schools on sustained developmental and preventive programmes. The VWOs' role should go beyond being direct service providers or youth problem-busters to the schools. VWOs may wish to explore with the schools ways to transfer knowledge and skills to the teachers so that teachers can reach out and identify the at-risk cases early. This will help schools build up more effective coping strategies over time. 10 Often, youths go astray because they lack self-esteem, positive role-models and direction in life. That is why IMYC is facilitating the work of the National Mentoring Network, a bottom-up initiative involving local mentoring service providers, dedicated to evolving a culture of youth mentoring. Hence, VWOs can also play a role in working with schools to nurture such mentoring outreaches. 11 Another area IMYC will look at is out-of-school youths ("OSYs"). Most OSYs have dropped out of primary or secondary schools. Currently, OSYs constitute a small percentage of each cohort of students. Nevertheless, they are still part of our human resources. OSYs have a higher propensity to be involved in crime and drugs. For example, it is estimated that about 30% of our youth crime problems are caused by OSYs each year. For drugs, 532 youths under 20 years were arrested for drug consumption in 1997 and 1998. Whilst this constitutes only 5% of the drug abuser population, nearly 90% of them were OSYs.12 We should devise creative ways to reach out and continue working with OSYs. IMYC has set up a working group to do this. It has surveyed some VWOs on their services for OSYs. It is our aim to provide multi-pronged strategies to help them regain their direction and focus in life. Once they drop out, some of them may work, study at private institutions or stay at home doing nothing. Instead of trying to fit them into a standard service package, we hope to reach out to them using different platforms so that different options are available to these youths according to their needs. One common thread though is to teach them useful lifeskills to equip them to handle life outside school.13 Another area which deserves attention is how to reach out to high risk families. Whilst we work on youths-at-risk at the community and school levels, we must realise that the involvement of their families is critical to sustaining the effectiveness of our work. A family under stress produces more than its fair share of problems. I understand that VWOs find it harder to work with family members than with the youths themselves. In this regard, the growing number of Beyond Parental Control or BPC cases is of concern. We must find ways to help parents before they lose control over their children. There are already many parenting talks. However, many parents who need these skills are not drawn to these talks. IMYC hopes to raise parents' awareness of juvenile delinquency. We hope that parenting and family life education talks can be further extended to our workplaces. IMYC will look into the feasibility of working with employers to bring parenting talks to their employees. We hope to involve CDCs in the process.14 We know that most youth crimes do not occur in schools or within the families. Hence, at the community level, we also hope to see more outreach programmes being implemented. IMYC hopes to draw VWOs and other community based organisations such as CDCs closer to pilot new initiatives to address youth crime. Take the problem of shop lifting for example. The involvement of juveniles in theft related cases crimes increased from about 1,500 (1,437) in 1996 to about 1,900 (1,923) in 1998, up 34%. It is good that there is already a downward trend in the first half of 1999, due partly to the measures put in place by the Police to raise the awareness of retailers on how to prevent these crimes. But there is a need to tackle the underlying causes of such behaviour. We know that many young shoplifters shoplift not because they cannot afford the item. Indeed, quite a number of them are from middle income families. Many do so because of negative peer influence. Some hear that others get away with it and are emboldened. So they try it too. Others are challenged by their friends to do it. Take the stealing of CDs for example. Many CDs are stolen from shops which have installed sophisticated security system. 15 At this Forum, we will focus on a few areas of youth problems to facilitate discussion. We welcome your ideas. However, the discussion should not stop here. We should continuously take stock of evolving youth trends, review our services and programmes, identify gaps in these services and find new directions and approaches to deal with them. I hope that VWOs can play a role in this endeavour. To the IMYC, VWOs are not just a network of social safety nets for our youths. You represent a wealth of resources, commitment and professional knowledge that can be tapped to solve youth problems and inspire youth aspirations. Individually, we have done well to touch the lives of our youths. We should now forge closer ties, working together, to implement more effective and extensive measures to tackle youth issues into the next millennium.16 I wish you all a fruitful discussion. Thank you.

Hi everyone, i have decided to post a post after watching my blog rot for months. Yes i noe that this topic might be abit lag, but this subject is just stuck deeply in my mind and i can't forget it no matter how hard i try, but i guess it is good to remember this event so well. The event is Outward Bound Singapore(OBS) lah, of course.

Day one
Alvin Chua from BB and I reported to punggol point jetty early in the morning. We took a taxi there lah. When we reached, only a few pple were there. After some time then many pple come. As usual mark attendance lor then board the speed boat towards Pulau Ubin. Anywae, Alvin and I are the only pple from BB lar, so both of us only knew each other at that time. We sticked together and took the same boat to Ubin as GB. The boat was so fast and the water splashed like mad. Splash until i wet. then we arrived at the campsite in a short while. Reach there then wait long long long time for other pple to reach Ubin. Alvin and I was assigned into the same group. I did not know anyone from my group at that time except for Sihui cause we classmates mah. My group(watch) was DA GAMA and the group members were Alvin, Me, Sihui, Kah hui, Wai leong, Jasper, John, Rachel, Sabrina, Lu Huan, Wong Liting, Yung Cheng, Leonard and Wei Hua. The 14 of us make up DA GAMA 12/6/06-16/6/06, together wif our instructor Shu Yun.
After knowing our groups, we played ice breaker stuff like that get to noe our group members. Draw stalls, two big box of food biscuits and stuff lar. First thing we did was pitch tent lar, then because BB and GB got pitch oftenly so we taught the others how to pitch lor. Everyone started toking while pitching tents, bond are building up slowly. After the tents are done, its time for kayaking course. As usual BB got kayak b4 oso mah, so Alvin and I kinda own the sea? LOL haha. No lah, its like everyone was quite nervous when they hit the water but for me, it was normal bah, maybe kayak quite few times liao leh? Then kayak, learn few strokes and do rescue. After that go back to camp bath, and cook our dinner. Makan liao got night circle tok tok, then go sleep ler.

Day 2

Woke up in the morning, strike tent, eat breakfast then gather play some games, and write our diary for day one. Again go draw stall, this time drew helmet and harness, and so we went to the climbing area to do high element stuff. Shu Yun taught belaying and some knots to tie the rope to our harness…… Muahahahaha! We did some trust games too and was real fun. Again cause BB got do climbing b4 so we know the belaying stuff. Then I went up the log(3D) wif Alvin climb climb climb, reach the 2nd last log then stuck cannot go up anymore, so came down lor. Haiz… arm pain like mad damn tired, so I didn’t continue to climb but came down instead. Climb from morning till afternoon. In the afternoon, we pack our back packs for a change of campsite. The bag was around maybe more than 12kg??!? Dunno leh but is just damn heavy lar. I cant even carry it up wif one hand..

Off we go out of campsite to our 2nd campsite, Shu Yun lead the way as a form of reward for the log climbing. So arrived shortly as it was near. Pitch tent cook dinner. That campsite rocks cause got no toilet no light and stuff. Need use torch and dig a hole to shit. Fun lor. But luckily I never shit lar. That dinner was shiok. After dinner is quiet time, and Shu Yun told us a “ghost story” haha. Nothing much lar that night as it was super dark so did nothing much. Everyone went to sleep lor. And Kah Hui borrowed my watch as a alarm clock, maybe she is too pig to wake on her own? So need an alarm? Lol haha… Rain that midnight while we sleeping. Super cool, and our tents got water seep through. LOL. But dun care, just continue sleeping lar. Haha everyone is sleeping piggily, dun care the rain. HAHA…….

Day 3

Today, woke up early in the morning play some teamwork game wif Junko and Hillary. We got in to second place woot woot lol haha. After that is the entire Anglican high school gather in circle and share bout our experience. We were supposed to read our group diary, but we didn’t write anything. So Wong Liting read a wordless diary, and it sounded damn real, she just read out wad she have in mind LOL.

After the circle, again we pack our bags and get ready to set out for our third campsite. I was the navigator for DA GAMA, so I took the MGRs and plotted the points out on the map. After everyone is ready, we set out into the forest to search for our first checkpoint. The first checkpoint was quite okay lar, but we have to find it wif our sharp eyes as the checkpoint is nailed on a tree. It was me hu found the metal plate lar of course so pro, hehe. When we set out for our second checkpoint that time, Shu Yun told us to proceed to the last checkpoint, which is the highest point of Ubin. Woot woot, that walk was super duper far, but we held on to our never give up spirit. On our way, Da Gama kept singing, like a jukebox non-stop. That was cool man, their singing not bad especially Lu Huan, Jasper and Wong lar. Ha. So walk walk walk reach the bottom of the hill. We walked up without a map at all cause last time I went up there b4. That trail up was cool climbing over and under fallen logs, steep slopes too, fun fun fun. When we reached the top everyone was so hyper cause we made it safe and alive to our checkpoint and of course with the help of our great DA GAMA navigator, we reached there first too.

Halfway admiring the nice view of the quarry, Shu Yun revealed the last checkpoint to me and I was shocked. It was a place all the way back to camp 1 and even further, at the far west side of ubin. Still remember when I told the group bout the last checkpoint, everyone’s morale drop to the minimum. But we did not give up and continued our journey. Same thing we walk, talk, sing and make noise lar. Keep walking. While walking Wong came to me and we chatted lar, thx for that nice chat anywae, it was a morale booster for me. LOL hehe. So keep walking, and I was looking for all the possible shortcut and found one. Some group members did not trust me as they tot the short cut was wrong, but it came out correct. Lol. We reach the gate of the camp liao, then found out that it was locked, at that point of time, I was like OH SHIT, then keep thinking is it walk wrong way or wad, then damn scared the group members kao bei. But in the end is Shu Yun hu scammed us, so she unlocked the gate and everyone rushed to our destination. Reach campsite liao dumb all our bags down, drink water, rest, form a circle, help each other massage shoulder. Wheeee, so comfortable. After that is pitch tent lar, the place was small but because of our great navigator hu is me, we reached there first, so we got to choose our sleeping spot. After the tents, is water activity again, rafting. We tied a raft using pipes and drums. We were happy tying it lar, everyone singing song and chatting. We named it 大海妈妈(mother of big sea) LOL. Lu Huan came out wif that name. hehe. The sad thing is tat when mother of big sea entered the water and pple sat on it, the drums came off, and our raft rotted in the sea. Lol! I didn’t even get to sit on itL But nvm lar ha. After that is wash up and everyone was real happy about the dinner as it was prepared by the cooks there. That night’s dinner rawks. Wheee.

After the dinner was the sea expedition briefing for 2morow. Everyone gathered at some place and the instructors took out a map to show us the route of the expedition. Everyone listen carefully and understood the route of the expedition, and the various stuff on the way such as the mud bun and a bridge where we have to get out of the kayak to carry the kayak over. I was exceptionally excited when I heard about the mud bun as I find it real cool. The mud is actually to thigh depth, and best is that we have to wear our shoes. Whooo. Lol spastic. After the explanation, was choosing of sea expedition leaders, the navigator in the front, sweeper at the back, and the two side kayaks which forms a diamond formation, total of six pple 2 from each watch. Me & Alvin was selected from DA GAMA. Yong Peng & James from Hillary as right markers. Sandy & Leon from Junko as left markers. Oh yes, the combination of the 3 watches in now named as “Mobile Anglican”. After things are settled, the mobile Anglican went for supper except the six sea ex leaders. Six of us stayed back to discuss our positions, and agreed to the above positions. I was the sea ex navigator. Woot woot.

Went to have my supper, then ask Da Gama to meet me at the rockwall after they had their supper. I briefed them about the sea ex like wad to bring and wad time to wake up 2morow. We had to wake up 5am 2morow sia damn shiok! Then it was QT, and shu yun issue our diary to write on. Write finish liao already around 11++pm, so everyone went back to sleep ler. ZzzzZZZZz. The instructors told us that sea ex leader have to have their own kayaks, which means only can one sea ex leader in one kayak but on the first day my partner was Alvin. So both of us had to change partner. After some reshuffling, my partner was Wong LitingJ, and Alvin’s was Wei HuaJ. So nothing much liao went back to sleep lor. The third day ended.

Day 4

Today woke up super early, packed our bags, strike the tents, load the speed boat wif our bags to be sent back to camp 2. Had breakfast, then everyone was ready for the expedition, I got my map wif the mud bun and bridge marked our for me only, and I have to look for the route myself. After breakfast we loaded our kayaks wif our stuff, and had a Mobile Anglican circle, it was drizzling at that time, great weather. Had our last words before leaving camp 1. Finish the talking then I told Wong on how to kayak wif me, basically is she sit in front and I sit at back. She only need to paddle forward and nothing else, while I control the direction and stuff like these lar. Things were great. My kayak was the first to hit water at around 8am, followed by the other sea ex leaders. We formed the diamond shape and the Anglican pple fitted into the diamond. After the diamond shape was done, we set out for camp one. So we were kayaking and some pple were fast some were really slow like mad, and I mean real slow lar. The diamond shape was rotten in just few minutes and it turned into a line. LOL. After the turn around the extreme west of Ubin, we took a rest and waited for the back pple to catch up. So we were kayaking straight for around 1 hour until we came to the opening of the fence for us to enter a river. Wong was singing in front and I am looking at the map, while we kayak. We chatted lots and lots of stuff too. Pple at the back were quite pissed as the front and back distance was too far, so my double kayak was powered by one man only, we took turns to paddle lar of course. We did that so that we would slow down and let the back pple catch up. I found that the pple at the back was actually paddling in zig-zagly that’s y they wasted lots of energy and unnecessary distance. Wong and me were real scared of the pple getting pissed by us, so we called for a raft up and let the mobile Anglican have their lunch, drink water and explain the situation to them so that they would understand wad we r doing, to prevent conflicts. We had to keep to the time so as to keep to the tide pattern for the ease of moving across the mud bun. After 15mins of rest, we set off for the river. We saw many kelongs, and huge gigantic massive structures along the sea. We can like see Malaysia so clearly as we were super close to it, there were fence all along the beach to prevent illegal immigrant who would swim from Malaysia to ubin. Coastal guards filled the water ways too.

Finally we got into the river mouth, it was tricky to topo in the river as the only things u can see is trees and nothing else. So I can only look at the shape of the river and the direction on the compass to move around. Our first target was the mud bun. The river was narrow and the roots of trees were growing all over making the river even narrower. The forests by the river side look real scary lar. Things were fine until when we got near to the bun. There were many cross roads there and were not shown on the map, so I did trial and error here and there. Finally we got to the mud bun. It was a huge chunk of mud in the middle of the river, wif a height of around 3 or 4 metres. Real cool. We waited for the tide to rise so that some parts of the bun would be underwater, and that we can reach the top of the bun. Everyone slacked there, eat and drink tok rubbish. While waiting, we actually found an alternative way to cross the bun. It was a small gap wif tree roots growing across the gap. So I wanted to try that way and it actually can be used. I hopped off the kayak after Wong. When I first jumped onto the river bottom, I actually sank into the mud and the mud level was to my thigh, that was real cool. Whooo. I got my self out and crawled under the root to the other side of the mud bun. I asked Wong to press down on the back of the kayak so that the front would elevate to the height of the roots. I pulled the kayak from the other side, sliding the kayak over the roots. We succeeded, and my kayak was now over the other side of the bun, Wong crawled over and she got onto the kayak. The instructor asked me to station at the tree roots to instruct the pple on how to cross the roots, so Wong Kayak by herself around the bun. Waiting for other pple to cross. I pulled many kayaks over, repeating what I said many times and doing the same actions many times too, like some theme park worker instructing the crowd on how to operate something. LOL. I stayed in the mud for around half an hour. Stepping all over the mud under water, squishing the mud. LOL. After everyone was over, I called for Wong to pick me up. When I sat into the kayak and lifted my leg up, my leg was covered wif several cuts by the twigs underwater. My “white school shoe” turned into a black school shoe due the black sticky mud under the water. Those are swamp mud, real cool man.

Whoah, the nightmare of the sea ex came after the mud bun, looking for the bridge. There was totally nothing shown on the map after the mud bun, it was just a chunk of white space on the map????? LOL so nothing I can do. I moved around by the compass hanging on my neck, going towards south as we wanted to cut through ubin from north to south. We looked at the direction of water flow too. We got lost several times too, the scariest lost is the one where we come to place where it was extremely shallow and narrow only a kayak at a time, so a line of 28 kayaks were in that narrow water, the water level is the length of your forearm only. So we got stuck several time and we shake our butt to get over the ground, didn’t even have to get out of our kayaks. We were moving on and the worst thing is that the water became stagnant suddenly and was a dead end. The place was filled wif mosquitoes too. At that point of time, Me and Wong were extremely scared as it was dark in there and was filled wif many trees growing all over the place. When we shouted “wrong way, U- turn”, I heard pple shouting vulgarities getting pissed off and stuff like dat. And I want to say sumthing lar, it was really difficult to get along the river, so pro come topo urself lar, dun think u even noe how to read the map lor, anyway the map had nothing on it too. LOL so mean. So everyone U turned, and got out of the scammer water. The water is flowing in at the mouth but just become stagnant suddenly. We went passed mobile Anglican and the faces of everyone is like AP look. Wong tried to calm me down. So we continued and move on, got lost several times too. Haiz, lazy to elaborate so detailed. So finally reached the bridge, same thing I got off first and carried our kayak to the other side of bridge put it on the shore. After finishing mine, went to carry other kayaks, some of the kayaks were real heavy sia, filled wif water. After moving all kayaks to opposite, its time to launch them out. Again, I was like a theme park worker again, helping pple to get into their kayaks on land, and pushing them into the water, heavy heavy sia. After everyone crossed, the sea ex leaders launched and my kayak was the last to launch. After the bridge, there is no more crossroads and only got one way so no need see map or compass can move our of river liao.

Nothing much after that. We got out of river shortly and into the sea. So chiong all the way back to camp 2, on the way everyone is tired so moved at a slower speed. Wong and me discussed about wad happened in the river, lol, she was acty very pissed wif the pple too, so now my turn to calm her down.. haha. The water was extremely choppy and the wave is so high that when it is in front of us, we cant see wads infront. Everyone going up and down due to the waves. We saw many gigantic tankers and one huge ship wif a super duper tall crane on it. That was like the biggest ship I ever seen lar, it was very far away but still look very big. So reached camp 2 wash and scrub the kayak. Mud was still sticking onto the kayak lar, and that shows how sticky the mud was. Sea ex officially ended at around 5pm-6pm and we were not lost, all thanks to our great sea expediton leaders especially the navigator hu is me. LOL bhb. Actually everyone did a great job lar. Good job Mobile Anglican hip hip hurray WOOT WOOT. Everyone put back the kayaks and gather at the jetty for jetty jump. Everyone jumped except 2 pple(dun wan mention names lar). Jump finish go bath, then pitch tent, cook dinner. Eat finish liao gather again for night walk. Walk to the reservoir of OBS school. Was extremely dark. Cant even see ur own hands. No torches too. Sat down and had a Da Gama circle at the reservoir. After that we walked back solo. Everyone made it. I was the second last person to walk and I walk super slowly, holding a calm mind, strolling in the forest. Then the sound of dropping leaves very scary, like got things following u like dat. LOL. Gathered at jetty again for QT and tok about the nighwalk. They say they saw a wai leong bush in there, a bush which bears the shape of wai leong wearing a cap, and wai leong was also wearing a cap during the nightwalk.LOL. Some pple were freaked out by that wai leong bush. Damn funny lar. So nothing much lar. Go sleep ler and day four ended.

Lennie is among the principal characters on Of Mice And Men. He remains exactly same in personal character as the reader encounters him in the beginning, in other words he has never change his character. He loves to pet soft things, but possesses incredible physical strength. Lennie is totally defenseless, he can't avoid the dangers presented by the people around him too.

First of all, i started to get the feel of 3k'06 and found out that it was quite crappy but not as crappy as 2k'05. Come on man add oil towards the ultimate crap klass. Now our klass is on the 5th floor but the onli good thing is that it is windy up there and can just simply do suicide actions.lol.

K it was geog test 2dae and guess wad i actually forgot to bring the book home and i came back on saturday but the stairs was locked up and i cant go up and take my book so i studied the core geog book which belongs to my bro and the sec 1 and 2 books. Luckily i read the sec 1 book because some of the questions are from sec 1 book:)

Everyday we had to go up and down and down to up because our OHP is not working and we had to go to lecture room for lessons.I think one day all of us would just simply jump down instead of walking down the stairs. haha.

And that day during SS lesson Shawn called me to answer question and after i did Ms Zarinah asked me to chose another person to answer the next question. so i called no.38 hu obviously did not exist. and she was like keep asking the person to stand up but no one did and she was just like talking to the wall until somebody told her that 38 does not exist.

And few weeks ago after skool Shawn's belonging kept dropping down stairs like shoes and socks(not sock ling hor)[ex classmate]. And i said later one day become my SOCCER ball drop down and 2 dae it dropped. it flew down at high speed and hit the slope down stairs and flew over tower hall, over stadium and then to the field. luckily did not hit anything. phew.

My hands sour liao and i found out i typed all these in just 3 mins thats y my hands are limy and soury. good bye .

Sorry mr tan i can't enter the posting site for the past few days until 2dae so it is a little late.:)

First of all i watched Gattaca, the movie during english lessons and it was quite complicated but overall i understood. it is a story about two person switching identity using blood and urine samples and everyday he had to scrap off as many dead skin, hair and any body segments to prevent the finding out of his identity(i kinda of like forgot their names so....)But until one day when a murder case happened in the office and an eye lash just dropped in the scene and the DNA of the hair in invalid in the company, so a nation wide search was conducted in order to find out who is the murderer. but he wasn' t found out, and the actual person actually suicided after preparing a life time body samples for the imposter, during his flight to space.

The movie was tricky and very exciting especially when the detective kept trying to arrest the imposter but failed many times.

Thats all folks!!!!!!!!!
